SPRINGVALE ROAD APARTMENTS

This block of 12 generous sized flats is located on a vacant site of a former petrol station in Walkey, Sheffield. The new build consists of 3.5 storeys and is set into the existing hillside topography.

The scheme provides two one bed apartments and ten two bed apartments. The basement of the building has been designed to provide private car parking to the residents of the building. The development also features amenity space in the form of shared courtyard area which positioned at the rear of the development.

For the materiality of the building, Tatlow Stancer Architects elected to use natural stone, as it is prevalent with the immediate context of the site. The scheme features a number of Bay windows, which are a common feature within the locality, the windows are finished with black stove enamel.

Construction work on the project was completed in 2022, with the first residents occupying the scheme early in 2023.
